Legal status in New Zealand

Vantara research peptides are supplied as laboratory reagents under the New Zealand Medicines Act 1981 framework — they are not approved medicines, are not registered with Medsafe for therapeutic indications, and are not held out for human or veterinary administration.

Synthetic peptides that have not been granted ministerial consent under section 20 of the Medicines Act may not be supplied or advertised for therapeutic use. Vantara therefore restricts supply to bona-fide in-vitro research contexts, and labels all product accordingly.

Customers are responsible for confirming that their intended use complies with New Zealand law and any applicable institutional ethics or biosafety requirements.
